About Me

Erica specializes in anxiety, depression, trauma, and postpartum challenges. She works from a holistic wellness model, integrating nutrition, fitness, and mental health. She has worked extensively with families, children, and teens to support them in various transitions, behavioral challenges, and familial attachment relationships. She enjoys working with food-body relationship challenges and supporting mothers in all stages.
Erica has over 10 years of experience working with children, adolescents, and young adults in a variety of settings. She served as a Clinical Administrator for a private counseling agency overseeing programs and offering clinical supervision to Residents in Counseling as well as counseling staff. Erica has worked within the school system, in homes, as well as in an outpatient setting. She previously worked with clients of all ages through a small private practice before transitioning to work as an intake clinician and therapist for children/adolescents with the Harrisonburg/Rockingham Community Services Board.
Erica is married to her husband, Mattias, has three young children, and enjoys spending time outdoors when she’s not with clients. She and her family love to travel and often enjoy movie nights with charcuterie boards together on the weekends. Erica and Mattias' family is spread across the US in Arizona, Washington, Kansas, and Switzerland, offering frequent opportunities to explore new places. She is passionate about holistic health and integrating nutrition, fitness, and mental health both professionally and personally.
